Dysautonomia Meet and Greet
Join us for a supportive and empowering Dysautonomia Meet and Greet on November 6th at 6:00 PM. This is a wonderful opportunity to share experiences, support each other, and meet new friends who understand what it’s like to live with Dysautonomia.
What is Dysautonomia? Dysautonomia is an umbrella term used to describe a malfunction of the autonomic nervous system (ANS). The ANS controls all the automatic functions of the body that we don’t consciously think about, such as heart rate, blood pressure, digestion, body temperature, breathing, and more. When the ANS doesn’t work correctly, it can lead to a wide range of symptoms affecting nearly every system in the body, which can vary significantly from person to person. Conditions falling under Dysautonomia include Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS), Neurocardiogenic Syncope (NCS), and many others.
This event is about “Standing Up To Dysautonomia” together. Come connect with a community that cares and find strength in shared understanding.
