Crossing Jordan Ministries
Crossing Jordan Ministries is a Christ centered ministry that provides a biblically based counseling that seeks to provide healing and freedom from toxic behaviors often related to spiritual oppression. We then walk alongside individuals to provide spiritual mentoring and direction. This ministry follows the biblical dictates to bear one another’s burdens, disciple those in need of guidance, comfort and heal the wounded hearts, and set free those who are spiritually bound or oppressed. The essential components of this ministry are prayer, prayer for healing, freedom from spiritual oppression, spiritual mentoring and direction all under the guidance and direction of the Holy Spirit. Ministry to the person is also a process for building joy in the person, giving them strength to walk in the fullness of God’s promises. The whole person is taken into consideration; spirit, soul, heart, and body. Spiritual healing is as important as emotional and physical healing.
The Director, ministers and counselors make no claim to hold mental health credentials and are not licensed as such, but work with medical and mental health professionals. Members of this ministry staff receive regular supervision and participate in peer supervision. If any person has a need that is beyond the scope or training of the workers in this ministry, they will be referred to a qualified minister or counselor. Crossing Jordan Ministries is a tax-exempt religious organization under 501 C 3, IRS code.
Fee Info:
Because we are a ministry, we do not charge a “fee”. We have a suggested donation of $60 for an hour session and they typically run 60-90 minutes. If anyone donates more than the suggested donation, it is tax-deductible.
We cannot take insurance.
We do not turn anyone away that cannot pay a full amount. We do ask for some type of donation so the individual has some type of commitment; even if it is $5. We have scholarship funds that help off-set the difference.
